SIPMethod User Agent Toolkit is a SDK for developing SIP User Agent. Built upon same robust kernal and stable protocol implementation of SIPMethod Application Server, SIPMethod U/A Toolkit offers a simple event/listener Java API for SIP endpoint applications. Comparing to other SIP stack implementation, SIPMethod U/A Toolkit furthur simplifies application logic by providing a high-level session abstraction so the applications don't have to deal with low-level message retransmission, timeouts, and transaction management.

SIPMethod U/A Toolkit provides API for application to create and manipulate different SIP requests within the session or outside the session. SIPMethod U/A Toolkit manages all SIP dialogs and transactions on behalf of applications and notify application when significant messages/events occur.

SIPMethod U/A Toolkit supports the following SIP standards: RFC 2976, RFC 3261, RFC 3263, RFC 3265, RFC 3428, RFC 3525, RFC 3566.
