Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Server Development)

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of the management interface for our innovative communication and collaboration products. The candidate must be a self-starter in exploring new technologies and products. The candidate must possess strong hands-on OO design and development skill using Java. The candidate must work well in a team environment and possess strong commitment with the ability to deliver high quality software. Minimum educational requirement is a BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Java programming and OO design
• Strong understanding of Java threading and synchronization models
• Strong experience in network programming with TCP/UDP
• Experience in XML
• Good understanding of Java servlet and J2EE architecture
• Good understanding of distributed systems and Internet architecture
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytic and problem-solving skills

Pluses:

• Experience with Java servlet engine such as Tomcat
• Experience with performance and scalability turning
• Experience with SIP/H.323 related protocols
• Experience with O/R mapping such as Hibernate
